We are proud to announce that WIT Industries has teamed up with Koga, the longstanding high quality bike manufacturer, to create a limited series of Koga's famous FullProTrack and Senko frame sets with a WIT Industries design. These frame sets in Scandium and Aluminium 7005 are ridden by champs in six day races on the track and are used by the Dutch National Track team. Together with our racing team, Team F.A.S.T., we discovered that the stability and agility makes these frames also perfect for use in fixed gear criteriums. To serve track and crit aficionados, and to celebrate a long lasting collaboration between the two Dutch brands Koga and WIT Industries, we made a special edition in two-tone black and even more limited edition two-tone bright colors. |
WIT Industries' Team F.A.S.T. is formed by four fixed crit riders from Amsterdam and one fast lady from Milan, who can all compete with the world's best riders in this dicipline. Front man Stefan "Fish" Vis is a former prominent track cyclist and bike messenger. Main focus of the team are the Red Hook Criterium races. In the first race of 2013, Stefan Vis finished 8th, and was the only European rider making the top-10. The team is rearing to do even better in the races in Barcelona (24th of August 2013) and Milan (12th of October 2013). In between, they will participate in other races, about which we will keep you posted on facebook.com/witindustries. |
Koga is one of The Netherlands' top racing brands. From its very start, the brand has created excellent material for the best athletes on the planet. Its bikes have have made their appearance in the Tour de France several times (last time with team Skil-Shimano, now Argos-Shimano). The commitment to the highest level of track cycling is long standing: Leontien Zijlaard - Van Moorsel won many olympic gold medals on Kogas. Theo Bos has been the fastest man in the world on a Koga Kimera. Marianne Vos won Olympic Keirin gold in Beijing 2008 and Teun Mulder bronze in 2012. At this moment, the Dutch Track Cycling team and Koga are still going strong and preparing for the Olympic Games in Rio 2016. |
There will be two versions of the WIT Industries X Koga track frame sets. |
